For owners and contractors
What needs to go? What needs to stay?
Describe the job in a few lines. Someone on our team reads every enquiry and gives you an honest view of whether it could be one of the first jobs.
Rockslice is not yet a commercial service. We are selecting first jobs in tunnels and hydropower to assess together with owners and contractors.
Four things tell us most.
A line on each is enough to start. Unknowns are fine.
Illustration. A: the section to remove. B: what stays. C: access. D: protection and handling.
- 1What has to goRock or concrete, roughly how much and where it is.
- 2What has to stayStructure, installations and operation around it.
- 3AccessHow you can reach it, and from which side.
- 4Today's methodHow you would do it now, and what makes it hard.
Optional, if you know: mounting space, water and slurry, removal, drawings
- Mounting space. Room in front of the section for a rail.
- Water and slurry. Water supply on site and how slurry can be handled.
- Removal. How cut material can be freed, lifted and taken out.
- Drawings and photos. Anything showing the section and its surroundings.
For many jobs, existing methods are the right answer. We look at the complete job, and if our approach would not make it simpler, we will say so.
Have a job in mind? A few lines is enough.
